Gemma Gerardi

DVM

Dr. Gerardi graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She then completed a year-long equine internship at Mid-Atlantic Equine Medical Center in New Jersey. Upon completion of her internship, she joined the ambulatory group at Mid-Atlantic where she worked until 2019. Throughout her career, Dr Gerardi has worked on a wide variety of sport and pleasure horses. Her professional interests include lameness, reproduction, preventative care (including dentistry and nutrition). Dr. Gerardi completed the Options of Animals course in animal chiropractic in 2018, and is certified by the international veterinary chiropractic association. It was a love of horses and riding that drew her to the equine veterinary profession. And, she still enjoys riding and spending time with her OTTB Arthur.
